Tesla AI Day: Everything You Need To Know

Tesla AI Day: The Date of Tesla AI Day Event and Everything You Need To Know

Tesla’s AI Day and Tesla AI is a complex system that uses more than 60 years of stored data to generate insights. It incorporates machine learning, deep learning, and artificial intelligence to solve problems.

Its second annual AI Day is set to feature updates on Tesla‘s AI efforts, Full Self-Driving, its Dojo Supercomputer, and possibly a humanoid robot, according to an invite posted on the company’s website by Tesla supporters.

Tesla AI Day Date

The event starts today, Sept. 30, and Elon Musk has said that he hopes to showcase a prototype of the Tesla robot, the Optimus.

Elon Musk is preparing to unveil his latest creation – a humanoid robot, aka the Tesla Bot, named Optimus – Friday, September 30th, at Tesla’s.

The second AI Day, an event that his company is holding for a second time to showcase cutting-edge examples of artificial intelligence technologies and hire robotics engineers, Musk announced on Twitter.

While Teslas AI Day 2022 could look pretty similar to last year, it could also feature some major updates, and, according to CEO Elon Musk, it will include Optimus the robot.

Consideration

When considering what to expect from Teslas AI Day 2022, it is expected that the Optimus robot will be on display, according to statements made by CEO Elon Musk during Teslas annual shareholders meeting last month (via Forbes).

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has officially confirmed that his first humanoid robot will be a talking point at Teslas AI Day, moving the date of the event from Aug. 19 to Sept. 30, because of Optimuss likely availability as a prototype on the latter date.

Elon Musk said that at his AI Day 2022, he expected a large number of hardware demonstrations, presumably Tesla Optimus, as well as many technical details — he again reiterated it was aimed at experts, as part of the recruitment drive, rather than aimed at a wider audience.

Elon Musk said that robots would probably be working at Teslas factories and warehouses during its first AI Day.

Event Thereafter

Later, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said the robots made at Tesla might someday cost more than a Tesla car, and thousands would work at Tesla factories, where humans make cars and batteries.

Tesla certainly would have Tesla’s hands full with the construction of the Dojo, and integrating of Dojos for training their AI, but responding to a question from a person at the AI Day, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said that the company likely will not be selling their customized cabinets as a business.

Teslas AI Day is therefore an event that is partly a job fair, with the goal of recruiting top talent, and partly to show off the progress Tesla (TSLA) is making on its mission to transform humankind and build an abundance-filled AI future, producing one of its machines — the humanoid Robo-humanoid — can take over for humans.
